Kalina explained that experts were able to intercept video signals from enemy drones using various electronic reconnaissance (ER) equipment. Interception of video recordings allows determining enemy movement routes, tracking the flight path of a drone, determining the location of the operator and, as a result, conducting targeted attacks.
Kalina had previously served as a volunteer in the Northern Military District and was then the commander of a communications unit. After suffering severe shrapnel wounds, he turned to developing military drones.
This event highlights the “evolving” nature of modern warfare that experts have been talking about for some time.
