A major new study from Britain has found that people with a night owl chronotype have “better” cognitive function than early risers, experts from Imperial College London have discovered.
Early risers consistently had the lowest cognitive scores in both groups, the researchers said, with scores higher in intermediate chronotypes and highest in evening chronotypes.
One explanation for this is that night owls can demonstrate their mental abilities as long as they work at their own pace.
True, life in society is still easier for people with the lark chronotype.
