M.Video-Eldorado reports an increase in sales of gaming consoles in Russia. Thus, in January-June 2024, they grew by 97% in money and by 39% in figures compared to last year.
It is noted that the assessment includes not only flagship solutions, but also retro consoles and other types of consoles. PlayStation became the sales leader: PlayStation 5 sales in money amounted to 73% of the entire gaming device market (the share increased by 17% year-on-year) and 31% in units (an increase of 16%). At the same time, the shares of Xbox and Nintendo significantly decreased: the share of the first group in units was 5.7%, the second – 4.5%.
Yandex Market confirms a significant increase in sales of gaming consoles in the first half of the year — by 176%. In Wildberry, console sales increased by 77%.
