There are also two types of control: mechanical and electronic. In the first, having selected a washing program, you must manually set the spin speed, temperature, etc. The second option does everything automatically. Mechanical control is less common. Therefore, when choosing, only one question can arise, to take a machine with a touch panel or with an ordinary small display that shows the type of washing and time. Strictly speaking, overpaying for the sensor doesn’t make sense.

It is much more reliable and will last longer. To avoid going wrong with the size, choose a full-size machine or one with the highest spin speed.

Next is the pressure switch. He is responsible for the water level in the washing machine, depending on the washing program that is running. There are two types of pressure switches: mechanical and electronic. The first can regulate the water only two levels, in some cases one. But the second already works in a wide range, and for each wash, whether cotton, manual or delicate, it collects the exact and necessary amount of water. Here, of course, preference should be given to the electronic pressure switch.

Energy consumption

If the buyer is concerned about the issue of saving electricity, then when buying, he should pay attention to this. As with spinning, energy consumption is divided into classes (A,B,C,D,E,F,G). Also, do not forget about the engine. There are three motor options that are responsible for rotating the drum: collector, direct drive and asynchronous (or three-phase).

The collector, also known as a brush, is installed in the most economical washers, at the bottom of the drum and is connected to the shaft by a drive belt. Of the shortcomings, it is possible to note only the brushes. During operation, they rub against the collector, thus generating noise. They will also need to be changed over time. Otherwise, this is a reliable and powerful motor that gets the job done.

A direct drive motor is most often found on LG machines. Unlike the first, it is installed directly on the drum itself. There is only one drawback of such an engine, this is its complexity. For its operation, a more expensive and functional board is needed that can correctly control the motor. As a general rule, it fails more often and repair or replacement can be very expensive.

And of course an asynchronous motor is also an inverter. It is similar to the collector, it is also installed below and connected to the belt, but it works much quieter. And all thanks to the absence of brushes. This motor is usually installed in more expensive washing machines.
