According to Stanislav Kuznetsov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sberbank, a humanoid robot of the company’s own production will be presented at the beginning of next year.
In the future, Sber intends to improve development and create new versions for various tasks.
“To solve this problem, the team of the Sbera Robotics Center is actively developing, growing and improving. We invite the best engineers from around the world, participate in scientific conferences, and test the latest developments,” Kuznetsov was quoted as saying by TASS.
He added that more than 150 employees are involved in the development.
In February 2024, it became known that the company had begun creating artificial intelligence for anthropomorphic robots. It was noted that it will be based on a large multimodal neural network.
