Microsoft plans to introduce artificial intelligence features to Notepad

The Notepad text editor of the Windows operating system may introduce artificial intelligence-based assistive functions. One of the users of the Microsoft operating system discovered an innovation in the test version of the editor for Windows 11 and published screenshot on social networks.

The tool is called Cowriter. It will help the user to rewrite the text, enlarge or shorten it and also change the tone. Cowriter is not yet available for widespread testing.

Previously, Microsoft added artificial intelligence features to the Windows Paint graphics editor. Cocreator runs on OpenAI’s DALL-E model and helps users draw and create images based on text descriptions.
