Southeast Asian countries and Georgia are also gaining popularity, and independent travelers are actively helping them in this regard.
According to statistics, most of the summer tours have already been sold out, and the average booking period was about a month. Demand for travel increased by 57% year-on-year due to stable air travel. The vice-president of the Russian Union of Travel Industry, Dmitry Gorin, cites more modest figures. According to him, the real increase in the number of trips abroad does not exceed 15%.
The average cost of a vacation trip is 198 thousand rubles. Tours to the United Arab Emirates became the most expensive (182 thousand rubles), Abkhazia was the least expensive (it increased by 14.4% and the trip will cost 114 thousand rubles). At the same time, the most popular Türkiye has risen in price to 237 thousand rubles.
Industry experts say prices are rising due to a surge in demand with limited destinations available.
