The base version of the new product is expected to start at $1,099, while the iPhone 15 Pro is expected to start at $999. The price increase comes with several improvements.
First, the iPhone 16 Pro will receive an improved camera: a 48-megapixel main module, a wide-angle sensor with the same resolution and a telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom without loss of quality.
Second, Apple is increasing the storage capacity on the base model from 128GB to 256GB.
Additional changes include a larger display; the iPhone 16 Pro will have a 6.3-inch OLED panel instead of 6.1 inches.
The new product will be powered by the A18 Pro processor, which also supports AI-based functions. However, the battery capacity will remain relatively small – 3355 mAh.
