Google Gemini can now refine your email drafts for you, the company announced last Tuesday (20). A new option added to the app makes it easier to activate artificial intelligence to review messages.

The “Refine” option has been added to the “Formalize”, “Elaborate” and “Synthesize” features in the draft editing menu. According to Google, The function has the ability to transform scattered notes into more coherent messages.

In a way, the tool is a new feature for “Help me write,” a Gemini feature added in August 2023.

It is worth noting that the outline refinement option is only available when the content contains more than 12 words;Google needs to understand what you want to convey.

With practicality in mind, Google has added another shortcut for “Help me write” to the app and web version of Gmail. As before, selecting the button opens the tool’s options tray.

Open to paying customers only

The new feature will be rolled out to all users starting this Tuesday (20). However, Google stresses that the feature remains exclusive to paying users.

Therefore, the AI enhancement option is limited to users with Gemini Business and Enterprise accounts; Gemini Education and Training Premium; and Google One AI Premium.

Currently, the Gemini Advanced subscription costs R$96.99 per month. Users can try it for one month at no cost.
