“Creators” can now share their virtual worlds via a simple, secure connection using a VR headset, phone, PC or Mac, without the need to install special hardware or software.
Viverse Create offers two different creation methods. The first is a tool that allows users to create virtual worlds directly in the web browser and easily integrates with the Sketchfab library, giving you access to millions of 3D models. The second option is PlayCanvas, a game engine-style tool that lets you create more “complex” worlds.
This launch follows the recent launch of HTC Polygon Streaming, a technology that optimizes the rendering of 3D models by transmitting only the necessary polygon data, reducing bandwidth and processing power requirements.
