It’s almost cliche at this point when the 1993 classic Doom works where it shouldn’t, but adventurous gamers continue to raise the bar in terms of where they run the classic FPS. Now the McDonald’s order screen is the victim.
There is absolutely no practicality in this way of playing. The most obvious problem is the viewing angle: you have to turn your head 90° to get a normal view. Another problem is related to control: maybe the terminal keyboard and touch screen can replace WASD, but this is a kind of return to the old type of keyboard-only control in FPS.
