Lynch was aboard his 56-foot yacht, the Bayesian, which sank on August 19 after allegedly being caught in a waterspout, known as a waterspout.

Despite the manufacturer’s claims that it was “unsinkable,” the yacht reportedly sank quickly.

Lynch celebrated on a yacht with family and friends after being acquitted in a fraud case dating back to 2011, when HP bought Autonomy for $11 billion.

The entrepreneur was accused of “improper accounting” that exaggerated the value of Autonomy but was acquitted in June 2024.

There were 15 people on board at the time of the incident, including a baby who managed to escape in a lifeboat and was rescued by the crew of the Dutch ship Sir Robert Baden Powell.

In addition to Lynch, five other bodies were discovered, including that of Lynch’s trial attorney, Christopher Morvillo. Lynch’s 18-year-old daughter, Hannah, remains missing.
