It is expected to be the company’s thinnest foldable smartphone at just over 10mm thick, which is significantly smaller than the standard Galaxy Z Fold 6 at 12.1mm.
The Z Fold 6 Slim is said to feature a 6.5-inch external display and an 8-inch internal display, which are larger than the standard model’s 6.3-inch and 7.6-inch displays respectively.
The device will be available in black and is expected to be priced around $2,100.
However, it is worth noting that to achieve this level of thinness, Samsung will likely remove the digitizer layer, which would make the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim incompatible with the S Pen stylus.
It is also reported that the new product will have similar cameras to the standard version, including a 10 MP front camera and a 12 MP ultra-wide camera, but will have an improved 5 MP under-screen camera.
