These changes will appear in the Default Apps section of device settings later this year.
Next spring, Apple also plans to add the ability to choose default apps for navigation, translation, and spam filtering.
Additionally, European users will be able to remove apps like the App Store, Messages, Camera, Photos, and Safari.
The only exceptions will be the Settings and Phone apps, which are impossible to delete.
Keep in mind that all of these changes come as part of the European Union’s requirements for companies to give users more control over their devices and allow them to install third-party apps instead of standard apps.
