T-Bank plans to launch its own online goods sales service

Dmitrievsky called the project “the marketplace of the future within T-Bank,” and a marketing specialist who wants to be part of it can join the purchasing team.

The main task of an employee in this role is to grow the business exponentially, build a strategy and find stable acquisition channels. He will have to work closely with business leaderproduct and analytics team leaders.

The head of the Federal Society for Online Commerce (FOST), Evgenia Chernitskaya, told Vedomosti that the launch of the service is planned for this autumn, in time for the sales season, in order to “make the start as powerful as possible.” She suggested that the marketplace would be presented as part of the traditional T-Bank conference dedicated to e-commerce.

At the same time, the bank does not yet have a classic infrastructure for online stores with distribution centres and pick-up points. Alexey Fedorov, head of the e-commerce council of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, believes that the company, in order to maintain its “image of a digital bank”, decided not to fence off warehouses and points, but to concentrate solely on working with numbers, marketing and customers.

Nikita Dmitrievsky also posted a second vacancy: a product marketer is wanted for a turnkey car sales service – T-Auto. The specialist will be required to build the marketing of the project. He will need to work with the product team, the sales team and colleagues from other marketing departments.

The project description says that customers will be able to buy a car without leaving home, as well as evaluate an old car online, calculate and receive a loan, take out insurance and arrange delivery.
