MTS announces the launch of MTS TRAVEL ACCELERATOR at the MTS StartUp Hub innovation and investment center.
Accelerator participants will be able to attract up to 500 million rubles in investments into their projects, receive expert support and access to MTS technologies for testing business models.
Recruitment of startups in MTS TRAVEL ACCELERATOR is implemented in three directions:
▪ HotelTech (solutions for hoteliers)
▪ OTATech (digital storefront services)
▪ TravelTech (passenger solutions)
❝
The travel technology market is growing rapidly, and this momentum is supported by global trends: according to a report by Allied Market Research, the travel market was valued at US$9.4 billion in 2022 and is expected to reach US$21 billion by 2032, growing at a CAGR of 8.6%.
In Russia, this trend is even more pronounced: in three years, the penetration of online services in the travel segment can grow to 60%. MTS TRAVEL ACCELERATOR is a great chance for startups to make a name for themselves. We are looking for projects that help change the modern tourism market and provide us with a seamless experience – a basic customer experience – from the level of tickets to the choice of excursions and hotel accommodations.
— Dmitry Kurin, Director of the Department of Strategic Development and Investments of MTS, CEO of MTS StartUp Hub
The finalists will be able to test their development on the basis of the MTS Travel travel service and, if everything goes well, sign a long-term contract with it.
In addition, the finalists will receive access to cloud services, MTS artificial intelligence technologies and investments from the MTS StartUp Hub venture fund.
