Redomiciliation is the transfer of a company’s registered office from one jurisdiction to another while continuing to operate in the home country. The company says it filed the documents on August 26 and expects to complete the registration of Cian Technology, which is the parent company of Cian PLC, in October 2024.
“Other plans (following the re-domiciliation) include Cian Technology acquiring the status of an international public limited company (IPAO) and submitting a public exchange offer, subject to applicable regulatory restrictions, to the remaining shareholders of the company,” the statement said.
The company intends to complete all necessary processes and will be ready to make an exchange offer later this year.
In April, the Seychelles-registered holding company Cian Technology Ltd announced its readiness to relocate its headquarters to the Russian Federation.
