Food for astronauts is developed by special space nutrition departments of research institutes. This food is produced in special factories in different countries.
The International Space Station is mostly Russian and American. The products are supplied by NASA and Roscosmos. For example, American astronauts eat scrambled eggs and bacon, coffee and toast for breakfast, macaroni and cheese, chicken with corn, peaches or almonds for lunch, and sweet potatoes, turkey, asparagus or pumpkin puree for dinner.
As for the Russians, their diet is a bit different. For breakfast they can eat rice with dried fruits, cookies, cottage cheese with raisins and various vitamin supplements. For lunch they eat jelly fish, soup, fruit juice, astronauts eat meat and salad and drink tea with cookies.
Astronauts also have hundreds of meals to choose from.
The ISS is regularly supplied with natural products (e.g. cereals, cookies), rehydrated (boiling water is added before consumption) and thermostabilized (food needs to be heated).
