The development is based on a modification of a television antenna that allows transmitting a signal to control a UAV at a much greater distance in the microwave range. The innovation was created within the student design bureau and has successfully passed laboratory tests, noted Yuri Zazulya, rector of SibGUTI.

All laboratory tests of the antenna have been completed and the development is planned to be presented at the international scientific and technological forum “Technoprom”. In the future, the student plans to improve the project by making the antenna rotatable.
