It was initially said that all iPhone 17 models would be equipped with 12GB of RAM, but Kuo believes that only the Pro Max model will receive this amount of RAM. The current iPhone 15 and Plus have only 6GB, and the 15 Pro and Pro Max models have 8GB. According to him, all models in the iPhone 16 line, which the company will present on September 9, will have 8GB of RAM.

Kuo also claims that the iPhone 17 Pro Max will receive a new cooling system with a vapor chamber and a graphite plate, this will better remove heat from the processor.

Apple will most likely position the iPhone 17 Pro Max as the most powerful smartphone, including for working with artificial intelligence. A model with such characteristics could be presented in 2026.

Apple announced that the next special presentation will take place on Monday, September 9 at 10:00 Pacific time (21:00 Moscow time). It will present not only the iPhone 16 model range, but also Apple Watch Series 10, Apple Watch SE 3, Apple Watch Ultra 3, AirPods 4, AirPods Max.
