Cars up to a million rubles are the most in demand on the Russian secondary market, their share of sales exceeds 60%. Analysts, based on data from ads appearing on Avto.ru during the first 8 months of this year, found that the most common brands were cars from Japan (30%), Germany (19%) and South Korea (18%). There are still very few Chinese brands in this segment – only 3%.

For the indicated price, on average, you can buy a sedan with a gasoline engine, which was launched 14 years ago and its mileage has already exceeded 190 thousand kilometers.

The top ten includes models that have been the best-selling models on the Russian market over the years. The second-generation Ford Focus took first place in terms of interest from buyers. It can be purchased for an average of 503 thousand rubles. The “silver” Renault Logan 2004-2015 (421,362 rubles) closes the top three for Hyundai Solaris 2010-2014 (834,395 rubles). The fourth place was taken by Ford Focus 2011-2015 (891,237 rubles), and the fifth place was taken by Chevrolet Lacetti 2004-2013 (513,424 rubles).

Also in the top ten were the Daewoo Matiz, Volkswagen Polo, Kia Rio, Chevrolet Lanos and Opel Astra 2006-2014.
