Yandex Market is testing the acceptance of deliveries from sellers at pick-up points, the company’s press service told RB.RU.

To use the service, when choosing the method and time of delivery, you must tick “via transit warehouse” and select a suitable delivery point where the seller will receive the goods for shipment. The site will do the rest by itself.
The company warned that no more than one box can be sent at a time, the sum of its sides must be up to 149 cm and the weight must be up to 19 kg.
Market believes that this service will not only simplify the search for shipping spaces, but will also help increase sales by up to 15% thanks to the possibility of delivery to the buyer the day after placing the order.
Marketplace partners will be able to deliver items to pickup points throughout the working day, without having to arrive at the scheduled time. This innovation simplifies the delivery process and provides additional income to delivery point owners, as they will have to process new types of shipments, the company said in a statement.
The experiment involves distribution points in Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Samara and Rostov-on-Don. In the future, the company may expand it to hundreds of collection points throughout Russia.
