Nintendo has officially announced the Nintendo Switch 2.
The new product is very similar to the original, but the Joy-Con controllers are now black with colored inserts. There are more controllers than the first Switch, and they magnetically attach to the console.
The rear stand is now U-shaped. And on the right side of the Joy-Con there is a new button.
The docking station for Switch 2 has a more rounded design. There will also be a separate controller grip where you can snap the joy-cons into place.
It is already known that Switch 2 will be backwards compatible with games for the original Switch. This applies to both digital and physical publications. In the trailer, Nintendo also showed a new part of Mario Kart, released on Switch 2.
