The “Requests” section is available in the mobile app on Android and iOS, as well as in the web and desktop versions of the social network. Messages from strangers will not interfere with your conversations with friends, which will ensure that you do not miss any important messages. Users can accept message requests or completely disable the ability to receive messages from strangers in their profile settings.

Another major update was the introduction of the ability to prohibit adding to group chats. Users can set restrictions to prevent others from adding them to chats. If the user has not set restrictions, they will see who invited them when a new chat appears.

OK product manager Alexander Moskvichev noted that the updates will help users feel more comfortable and confident on the social network.
