The corporation periodically disables the Apple Store website to update its sections. On September 9 at 20:00 Moscow time, the company will present the iPhone 16, 16 Plus, 16 Pro, 16 Pro Max, the Apple Watch Series 10 anniversary, which received an updated design and a larger screen, a new generation of AirPods, and other devices.
Pre-orders for the iPhone 16 in the global market could open on Friday, September 13, with the first deliveries scheduled for a week later, on September 20. AirPods and Apple Watch could go on sale immediately after the event.
The key feature of the new iPhone is called the Capture Button, which lets you take photos and videos by clicking it. The button will be capacitive: pressing it halfway will adjust the camera focus, simulating the operation of the shutter on professional cameras. It will also support swipes for smooth zooming.
Apple will not increase the prices of its new iPhone 16 Pro smartphone. This was stated by well-known insider Mark Gurman on the social network X. According to his report, the cost of the new device will be the same as that of the iPhone 15 Pro at the start of its sales. The device will cost around a thousand dollars.
