MTS has opened applications to participate in the True Tech Champ

The True Tech Champ algorithmic programming and robotics championship will be held in several stages. During the qualifying tests, participants of the first track will have to solve algorithmic problems online, competing in the individual competition. The second track is dedicated to robot programming and will be of interest to developers of C++, Go, Python, JS, Java, C#. It will be necessary to scan the virtual maze, obtain a number of data on the location of the walls and create an algorithm to quickly find the optimal route for the “robotic mouse”.

The semi-finals and finals of the championship will be held in the format of a spectacular robot race in front of several thousand offline and tens of thousands of online viewers at the MTS Live Hall in Moscow on November 8. Participants will be divided into teams, their robots will have to quickly find a way out of the maze and not reach a dead end.

True Tech Champ winners will receive prizes and cash awards. The finalists of the algorithmic track will receive 1 million rubles for first place, 500 thousand rubles for two second places, and 250 thousand rubles for three third places. The winning team of the robot programming track will receive 4 million rubles, the second place winners will receive 2.5 million rubles, and the third place winners will receive 1 million rubles.

The site will also feature entertainment areas with workshops on soldering circuit boards, assembling creative robots, web surfing, and visitors will also be able to try their hand at extreme coding, conquer a climbing wall with route generation, assemble servers, and guess by lines of code. Plus, everyone will be able to feel like they are the finalists of the championship: navigate the maze with a robot mouse.

On the main stage, leading experts from MTS and other major companies will give presentations on the most current IT topics, and in the evening everyone will enjoy a concert programme with the participation of popular artists.
