In the summer, a fee was introduced on an ongoing basis for the receipt of goods at Wildberries warehouses, and soon after, its price rose significantly. Sellers say that due to the new rule they are losing money and are going to go to the “berries'” competitors. Forbes writes about this.

Wildberries called the move forced and explained it by charging some of its warehouses. Sellers spoke very negatively about this in comments on social networks, including on the Telegram channel of the husband of Wildberries founder Vladislav Bakalchuk.
Previously, the service of receiving goods at the warehouse was free, but since the summer it has become paid: 3.5 rubles per litre. In addition, depending on the workload, the warehouse may apply a different coefficient that increases the amount of payment. Previously, they also accepted payments, but very rarely, on the so-called peak periods.
The journalists of the publication gave an example of the tariff using the example of deliveries of a batch of 1,000 jackets: each of them has a volume of 2 liters. Multiplying 3.5 rubles by the warehouse coefficient x20, the seller of the jackets must give Wildberries 140,000 rubles just for receiving the goods. This was stated by the interlocutor of the publication, who is associated with the textile factory “Salika” in Yoshkar-Ola, and other interlocutors of the publication confirmed it. And the sellers are still outraged.
The company’s press service noted that the peak of high ratios occurred in April, and “in the summer, the company completely revised its approach to managing the cost of storage and logistics services in warehouses and continues to implement a strategy to optimize the cost of market services for sellers.” Currently, only 0.16% of all daily deliveries have a high acceptance rate, while 55% of places in warehouses and sorting centers are completely free.
Wildberries & Russ will be able to entrust the construction of the logo centres to another contractor. The auditors of the merged company found that the subsidiary VB Development had not fulfilled some of its obligations.
