Sony has unveiled the PlayStation 5 Pro console. This is the most powerful console in the company’s history: its graphics processor is 67% more powerful than the previous model, said Mark Cerny, chief architect of Sony’s consoles, in a presentation.

The PlayStation 5 Pro is 45% faster than the PlayStation 5 and has 28% faster memory. The internal memory capacity of the set-top box is 2 TB.
Thanks to the high-performance graphics processor, an improved ray tracing system is available, which will allow you to achieve a more realistic display of lights and shadows in games. The console also supports PlayStation Super Resolution AI technology, which improves image quality.
Sony has also introduced Game Boost technology, which ensures the compatibility of the modern console with older games released for previous models. The image quality of these games will be improved.
The console costs between $700 and €800 depending on the country of sale. Pre-orders will open on September 26.
