The Federal Tax Service (FTS) of the Russian Federation is ready to spend almost 3.2 billion rubles on services to support automated information systems (AIS) and on import substitution of IT infrastructure. This follows from documents published on the public procurement website.

We are talking about the AIS “Tax-3” and the Federal Information Address System (FIAS). The Contractor shall provide support to AIS users and maintain application software for tax administration subsystems. Another task is to create conditions for information support of automated information systems.
Currently, foreign software such as Oracle, Microsoft, PostgreSQL, IBM and Cisco are used to operate the software systems of the Federal Tax Service. Therefore, the supplier is responsible for the transition to predominantly domestic software within the framework of the “strategy approved by the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation for import substitution of IT infrastructure and software.”
The results of the tender to determine the supplier will be announced on 17 September 2024, and the contract term is until 7 August 2025.
PJSC Megafon has signed a contract with FKU Nalog-Service of the Federal Tax Service of Russia to send SMS alerts to self-employed workers. The company is expected to send almost 35 million SMS messages to users of the My Tax mobile application throughout the year.
