A group of enthusiasts called the Flappy Bird Foundation announced the re-release of the cult mobile game. They kept the original yellow chick and the familiar gameplay: tap the screen to fly through the pipes.
But now new opportunities await us. There are additional characters, various levels and even a story mode.
The trailer shows off the world map and the Flappy Bird Rivals mode, where you can compete with 99 other players. There are also modes where you have to guide the bird through the basketball hoop.
Interestingly, the creator of the original game, Dong Nguyen, is not involved in this project. The legal procedures for acquiring the rights to Flappy Bird have raised questions among fans.
Despite this, the reboot promises to take us back to a time when simple yet addictive gameplay could keep us occupied for hours. The game is scheduled to be released in October!
