Ozon received the warning in April, after the FAS found evidence of an unjustified refusal to enter into a contract and its unilateral termination without explanation to the potential sellers and the imposition of participation in the action.
“Ozon complied with the FAS warning. Marketplace has made changes to its policy for working with sellers. The service received confirmation from Internet Solutions LLC that the warning had been complied with,” the department said.
Contracts with sellers now contain an “exhaustive list of reasons” for refusing to conclude a contract and its unilateral termination. The sellers’ liability for violations has also been simplified and transparent conditions for connecting and disconnecting the “Points for Discount” service have been defined.
Sellers now have the opportunity to provide their contact information to the buyer in the chat if necessary. This makes it easier and faster to resolve conflict situations.
The FAS added that the changes that have taken place will ensure the effective development of the market and the quality of services will be higher.
In August, Wildberries complied with the FAS warning, which indicated the need to make changes to the offer. Sellers were able to publish their contact information on the marketplace and fines for hacking their personal account were cancelled.
