The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation has decided to resume programs to stimulate demand for cars. In 2024, 6.5 billion rubles will be allocated for preferential car loans and 8 billion rubles for the preferential leasing program, the ministry said.

“In total, these measures will help sell more than 36,000 cars,” the ministry said.
They also said that under the terms of the preferential car loan program, the basic discount will be 20%, and for residents of the Far East – 25% of the cost of a car with an internal combustion engine. It will also apply to health workers, education workers, SVO participants and their family members, citizens with disabilities and families with children who buy a car in the regions of the Far Eastern Federal District.
In addition, all categories of borrowers can purchase Russian electric cars at a 35% discount (cars of the Evolute, Moskvich 3e, Amberauto A5 brands). At the request of Russian President Vladimir Putin, tourist buses were also included in the program. The ministry added that by 2024 these programs helped sell more than 82 thousand cars.
RB.RU wrote that the first electric car from AmberAuto was the A5 sedan, which can travel up to 520 kilometers on a single charge, in the GSE configuration with “warm” options it costs 3.4 million rubles, if changed upon purchase; if you own a car with a classic internal combustion engine, you are entitled to a discount of 300,000 rubles; buying on credit or leasing will bring you additional benefits thanks to state subsidies.
