The main disadvantage of Xiaomi 14T is the plastic body. Therefore, the smartphone looks like a budget device, although it is an “advanced mid-range”. The kit includes a 67W charger, a case and a film on the screen.

The fingerprint scanner isn’t particularly fast or accurate. Face unlock is quicker. Build quality is still good. There’s also moisture protection on the stereo speakers, which meet the IP68 standard. There’s no wireless charging support.

The display of the new product is very good. This is AMOLED, 6.67 inches diagonal, 144 Hz refresh rate. Hertz adjustment is available from about 30 to 144 Hz. Xiaomi 14T has no problems with brightness and PWM.

The 14 T battery has a capacity of 5000 mAh. It charges to 100% in 45 minutes. At the same time, under average working conditions, about 40% remains at the end of the day.

The smartphone runs on Dimensity 8300 Ultra. RAM – 12 GB, ROM – 256 or 512 GB. On 14T everything starts very quickly, in AnTuTu the processor scores 1 million 200 thousand points. True, it heats up and throttles in games.

The selfie camera on the 14T has a resolution of 32 MP. It can record video at a maximum speed of 4K 30 fps. The main camera is triple. The main module is 50 MP with optical stabilization, 50 MP telephoto with 2x zoom, 12 MP wide. In general, the wide-angle camera is quite weak, the main and telephoto cameras are not bad, but you should not expect much from them. Photo samples are above. The maximum video can only be recorded on the main lens at 4K 30 fps.

The 14 T also supports two SIM cards and an NFC module.

In fact, there is no fundamental difference between Xiaomi 14T and 13 T. Therefore, it is better to look at last year’s model. Also, there is no point in paying more than 35-40 thousand rubles for a new product.
