According to the service, the possibility of postpayment for partners was offered only when purchasing additional volumes of products, and such conditions were not indicated on the company’s website.

The company received a warning from the FAS, which said it must stop unilaterally changing the procedure for payment of goods and not force customers to buy additional products. It was also obliged to notify its partners of the opportunity to purchase goods without having to comply with discriminatory conditions.

In addition, the supplier shall make changes to the standard supply contract and business policy on the official website, and provide transparent criteria for the application of post-payment.

The company will now have to comply with the warning within 30 days and submit a report to the FAS. Failure to comply will result in antitrust proceedings.

In September, the Ozon marketplace, following a warning from the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia, made adjustments in its interaction with sellers. The warning was received in April.
