According to the publication, the inspections affected two companies: Teremok-Invest JSC and Teremok-Street LLC. In the case of the first company, 48 objects were inspected. In 18 of them, violations of the storage conditions of food products (temperature conditions) were detected, and in 12, violations of labelling requirements. 124 kg of food products were withdrawn from sale.

When checking the second organization in eight out of ten establishments, the department’s specialists found violations of the storage conditions of goods. Some of the selected samples met the requirements for microbiological indicators. 8 kg of food was withdrawn from sale.

The press service of Teremka told RB.RU that the company had not received any information about the fines.

“The inspection was carried out in July and all violations have already been eliminated. The main violation identified was the storage of coffee and cinnamon at temperatures above 20 degrees,” said a company representative.

Izvestia also recalls that this year, control measures have been taken against many companies selling ready-made food. In August, Rospotrebnadzor recalled about 350 kg of products from sale in two Eurospar stores in Moscow. In September, the Moscow chain of cafes “Shokololadnitsa” came under the scrutiny of inspectors, where major violations were also revealed.

In the summer of 2024, Russia experienced the largest outbreak of botulism in the past 25 years. More than 400 people were injured in 11 regions, two of whom could not be saved. The cause of the infection was green beans. It turned out that these were products manufactured in the workshop of the ready-made meal delivery service “Kitchen in the district”, which was not registered with Rospotrebnadzor. The activities of the catering establishment and the bean manufacturer “Savon-K” were suspended. A criminal case has been opened.
