The RX 6500 XT 4 GB and RTX 3050 6 GB graphics cards were run in games with PCIe 4.0 and 3.0.
The expert first tested the assemblies with ray tracing. The RTX 3050 performed better At the same time, the game Cyberpunk 2077 was released. The frame rate on the 3050 was about 40-45 fps, while on the 6500XT it was about 20 fps or less.
Cyberpunk 2077 launched with PCIe 4.0 at the medium preset. We managed to get an average of 54fps (3050) and 46fps (6500XT) in this game.
Average FPS in Forza Horizon 5 with TAA on High preset was 85 fps (RTX 3050) and 72 fps (RX 6500 XT).
RDR2 was running with Xbox One X Equiv graphics settings. Average performance was again higher for the 3050: 68fps versus 63fps for the 6500XT.
Starfield was tested with the lowest graphics. The average frame rate in this game was around 41fps and 40fps (with 3050 and 6500XT respectively).
The Dark Legend: Wukong Comparison Tool came with the Low preset and managed to get an average of 46fps (3050) and 41fps (6500XT).
With PCIe 3.0, Cyberpunk achieved an average of 54 fps (3050) and 42 fps (6500XT).
In Forza Horizon with the same settings but with PCIe 3.0, average FPS was 84 fps (3050) and 50 fps (6500XT).
The RDR2 game ran on PCIe 3.0 with average performance of 67 fps (RTX 3050) and 49 fps (RX 6500XT).
Average FPS in Starfield with PCIe 3.0 were 40 fps (3050) and 37 fps (6500XT), and in Black Myth: Wukong Benchmark Tool were 45 and 38 fps respectively.
In general, the RTX 3050 was the best in games, but the difference with the RX 6500XT was insignificant. With PCIe 3.0, the average FPS was only 14% (59 fps and 52 fps), with PCIe 4.0 – 35% (58 fps and 43 fps).
