The number of Internet queries with the keyword “artificial intelligence (AI) for business” has increased sevenfold over the past two years (from 1.2 thousand in September 2022 to 8.9 thousand at the end of August 2024), according to a study conducted by SEO analysts at Tochka Bank, which RB.RU has access to.

According to experts, the demand for “AI for business” is seasonal. It peaks in spring and falls in summer. This may be due to a decline in business activity during the summer in almost all segments of Russia, the study notes.

The end of winter and the beginning of spring, analysts say, coincide with the period of major releases of major neural networks, which generates additional fuel for interest in AI. In addition, during this season the largest amount of content appears: posts, courses, videos and advertising.

The experts also analyzed other AI-related queries on the Internet: “AI for a business plan,” “neural network for a company name,” “chatbot for business,” and others. The total demand for them increased from 10.4 thousand in September 2022 to 22.1 thousand at the end of August 2024, an increase of 113%.

The sharp rise in business interest in AI may be associated with the launch of the ChatGPT neural network in November 2022 and the subsequent wave of “hype” around generative models, suggested Mikhail Korochkin, AI product manager at Tochka.
