Amazon is launching a series of initiatives aimed at increasing sales and giving visibility to their products, with the aim of promoting the success of co-sellers, especially during the third edition of Prime Day in Brazil. The purpose is small and medium businesses reach new consumers and expand their business on the platform.
To increase access to Prime Day, where Prime members will have access to special promotions with zero shipping across Brazil, Amazon aims to provide speed and convenience in receiving packages. Then, FBA – Logística da Amazon will be expanded to partner sellers of the market.
Available to sellers in the states of Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Paraná (provided they operate under the Simples Nacional tax regime), the program allows small and medium-sized businesses to participate in the FBA and schedule the collection/delivery of their product stock. “Selling on Amazon is easy and for everyone”
The platform, which defends the slogan of “Selling on Amazon is easy and for everyone, from small to large”, will provide training to partner sellers at Seller University. In-house webinars promise to help both those who take their first steps into e-commerce and those who have already established their business.
Amazon.com.br also last month, Amazon Sebra Academy, Small business accelerator in partnership with Sebrae Nacional. Also specialty store “Support Small Businesses” (amazon.com.br/apoiepequenosnegocios) will offer tips on SME-specific products as well as stories from small and medium-sized entrepreneurs attending Prime Day.
Amazon Brasil plans to use Prime Day as an opportunity to strengthen ties with the community in the country. In this sense, it will allocate 15% of the sales made in the “Apoie Pequenos Negócios” store until July 21 to CUFA (Central Única das Favelas).
