According to information from representatives of the DNS network, the main reasons for the increase in prices were difficulties in transferring funds to suppliers, which now cost almost 10% more due to the need for roundabout routes. In addition, transactions are made in yuan, which adds 2-3% to the final costs. The situation is further aggravated by the seasonal weakening of the ruble before the New Year, which will also affect retail prices.
Anton Guskov, Director of Public Relations of the Association of Commercial Companies and Manufacturers of Household and Computer Equipment, noted that the cost of goods was affected by sanctions and payment difficulties, which affected both imported and domestic equipment, since many components are still not on the market and have been imported from abroad.
Representatives of Skyworth stressed that the weakening of the ruble is important, but not the only factor in the rise in prices. They noted that the yuan appreciated by 12% last month, and the cost of logistics services increased by 30%. The company believes that the forecast of 10-15% is still optimistic, considering all these factors.
