The implementation of the project within the framework of the Start-AI-1 competition must be aimed at developing a new product, service or solution in the field of artificial intelligence.

• The maximum grant amount is up to 4 million rubles.
• The planned period for R&D is 12 months.

The following may participate in the contest:

• individuals;
• Legal entities that have the status of “Microenterprise” or “Small Enterprise” in the Unified Registry of SMEs, whose registration date is no more than two years before the date of submission of the application for bankruptcy.

Within the framework of the “Start-AI-2” competition, the implementation of the project must aim to ensure R&D (based on the scientific and technical foundations previously obtained), the results of which will allow us to move on to the commercialization of the innovative products that are being created.

• The maximum grant amount is up to 8 million rubles; extrabudgetary co-financing is not required.
• The planned R&D period is 12 or 18 months.

Legal entities that have the status of “Microenterprise” or “Small Enterprise” in the Unified Registry of SMEs and that have completed the first stage of the “Start” program in the field of artificial intelligence may participate in the competition.

Companies with small technology business status will receive additional credit during the review phase.

Applications for the “Start-II-1” and “Start-II-2” competitions (Phase IX) are accepted until September 30, 2024, 10:00 (Moscow time).
