We are talking about unclosed advances that the online platform transferred to VB Development for payment to contractors. In the case of advances paid in August and early September 2024, the amount of claims increased by another 10 billion rubles.

Wildberries reported that it plans to file a lawsuit against VB Development for 27 billion rubles with TASS in mid-September 2024. The market then claimed that the division had not fulfilled its obligations under the concluded contracts.

The owner of VB Development is the co-founder of the online platform and the owner of its 1% Vladislav Bakalchuk. He explained that the debt reported by RVB arose because subcontractors had to pay advances for work and materials. The businessman stated that “the debt will disappear as soon as the company (“VB Development” – RB.RU) finishes its work.”

For its part, RVB announced that it will transfer VB Development’s projects to its subsidiary and that work on the logistics facilities continues and will be completed on time.
