The new processor is equipped with Orion cores, where two performance cores run at 4.09 GHz, while the Gen 3 runs at 3.3 GHz. In addition, the chip received six cores at a frequency of 2.78 GHz, unlike the previous 1+3+4 configuration of the 3rd Generation.
Also providing a significant boost is the Adreno 830 in Snapdragon 8 Elite, which runs at 1150 MHz and promises up to 56% improvement in graphics.
