According to media reports, the Ascend 910C, an improved version of the 910B, has been offered to major Chinese server companies and Internet firms that are already major customers of Nvidia. Ascend’s chips have received critical acclaim comparable to Nvidia’s A100 and were used to train half of China’s largest language models last year.
With the US banned from supplying advanced Nvidia GPUs to China, Huawei’s designs are becoming an important alternative in various industries.
