iFixit published a video in which they disassembled the new AirPods 4 without noise cancellation and AirPods Max 2024.
Experts did not find any significant differences between the fourth generation headphones and the third. The charging case for AirPods 4 without ANC is equipped with a 345 mAh battery – the same as in AirPods 3.
As for the Max, there is no difference other than the new USB-C port.
