The Russian government will allocate another billion rubles for the implementation of at least eight innovative projects in the field of mechanical engineering. This was announced by the Russian Prime Minister, Mikhail Mishustin, at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.

“We will expand the set of tools available to advanced companies, we will allocate another billion rubles in the form of subsidies for research and development work with the mandatory implementation of the results obtained in production,” Mishustin said.

According to him, the decision will contribute to increasing investment activity of manufacturers of high-tech products, including the transport and oil and gas sectors. Funds will be allocated from the reserve fund and provided in the form of grants.

In July, Mishustin ordered the creation of “industrial testing grounds” to test new national software and also demanded to control prices in the industry and support developers with subsidies;
