The average cost of renting a one-room apartment in the capital at the end of September increased to 80,000 rubles, 11.4% more than in August. Moscow has become a leader among cities with a population of more than one million in terms of rising prices for rental apartments of this category. Krasnodar is in second place in terms of cost growth, where the average rental rate increased by 9.1% and exceeded 28 thousand rubles. Rostov-on-Don closes the top three, where one-bedroom apartments rose in price by 8.7% in September and their cost reached almost 35 thousand rubles.
Rented apartments of other types have increased in price the most in Moscow. Two-room apartments increased in price during the month by 6.8%, up to 111 thousand rubles. Three-room apartments – 7.2%, up to 171 thousand rubles. Renting a studio for a long time will cost 77 thousand rubles (an increase of 6.5%).
In summer, despite the traditionally low season, the cost of long-term apartment rental in Russia continued to rise, Kommersant writes. At the end of June, the average cost of renting a one-room apartment in Moscow increased by 7%, up to 61 thousand rubles per month.
