Moscow’s Tverskoy Court released blogger Dmitry Portnyagin from house arrest. This is reported by a TASS correspondent from the courtroom.

“Change the previously chosen preventive measure in the form of house arrest to the prohibition of certain actions for a period until December 10,” the judge announced in the decision.
Portnyagin is accused of tax evasion and money laundering. He had been under house arrest since April and remained in his country house in the Moscow region. The blogger was banned from using the Internet and communicating. His wife Ekaterina Portnyagina is a suspect in the case.
According to the investigation, Portnyagin and his wife evaded paying taxes of more than 124 million rubles and transferred 91 million rubles to third-party accounts. The blogger admitted guilt only to tax evasion, but denies involvement in money laundering.
The blogger was detained on April 12 in Rostov-on-Don; The day before, a criminal case was opened against him. Searches were carried out at his home, as well as at the public bath complex and the Club 500 business club he owned.
Portnyagin is an entrepreneur, founder of the 500 Club, blogger and author of the “Transformer” books.
