Alfa Bank introduced payment stickers less than 1 mm thick. The sticker can be pasted on the back surface of the smartphone and pay for purchases without removing the case, the press service of the credit institution informed RB.RU.

They added that the sticker is “more sensitive than a normal one,” so it works instantly when paying for the merchandise through the terminal. You will soon be able to order a sticker in one of three designs. The bank promised to talk about the launch on its website and on Telegram.
Alfa Bank first launched payment stickers in January 2023. You can order them for free, the cost of the service in the first year is 590 rubles, in subsequent years – 0 rubles.
On October 9, Sberbank also announced plans to launch ultra-thin stickers. They noted that they have tested and are ready to release 10,000 stickers, inviting customers to place pre-orders.
T-Bank, VTB and other credit institutions also have payment labels. They are used as an alternative to the Apple Pay payment service, which stopped working in Russia in March 2022.
