The computer assembly for the games consisted of: motherboards Gigabyte B450 Gaming X, cooling systems Deepcool Gammaxx 300, two modules data store Goodram IRDM White 8 GB (3200 MHz 16 18 18 36), video cards RTX 4070 Palit GamingPro.
Below are examples of test processors in benchmarks. The games all started with the maximum preset.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla was running at the highest graphics settings. You can even play at 1400 with overclocking. On average it produced 79fps, with 1600 and 1700 being 21% and 22% more (96 and 97fps respectively).
In Call of Duty Warzone, we managed to achieve an average of 75, 98 and 102 fps (from 1400, 1600 and 1700 respectively) with simplified graphics. However, on Ryzen 1400, sometimes there may be drops of up to 50-60 fps.
Far Cry 6 came with the ultra preset. The difference between the younger processors here was 12%. This averages 57 fps at 1400, 64 fps at 1600, 67 fps at 1700.
The difference in extreme graphics settings in Forza Horizon 5 is the same as in Far Cry 6. These are 73 fps (1400), 82 fps (1600) and 86 (1700).
Hogwarts Legacy tested at maximum graphics. Although the average FPS here is above 60 fps, there are still drops below 60 on all processors. The highest frame rate in this game was found at 1600. Here the difference between younger processors was 15%, with the 1700 producing 2% less on average. The same was true for Miles Morales, where the Ryzen 1600 performed better than the others.
First-generation Ryzen processors are really throttled in Need for Speed: Underground. This is noticeable in ultra graphics. Each of the processors averaged below or slightly above 60 fps, with the 1400 generally averaging 36-37 FPS. 1600 produced 57 fps, 1700 – 61 fps.
In Total War Saga: Troy, 1400 is again far behind in terms of performance. There was only 65fps, around 90fps at 1600, and 93fps at 1700.
It came with CS 2 cyber settings and 1080p. Tested on records of competitive mode. The 1600 and 1700 had equal average FPS overall, but the 1400 was slightly behind. Although the difference between 1400 and 1600 was only 13%.
Cyberpunk was released with impressive graphics, DLSS Quality and rays disabled. The oldest processor gave 8% more FPS than the 1600th processor: 85 fps and 78 fps. At the same time, the 1400 had an average of 63 fps, but there were also drops of up to 35 fps.
