The two sides will reportedly cooperate on projects such as:

Mass production and application of durable solid-state batteries over a distance of more than 1,000 kilometers;

4C fast charge technology for solid state batteries;

development of highly safe and durable batteries;

increase the life of solid-state batteries;
-
development of high-performance solid-state battery integration technology.
According to the plan, the battery jointly developed by the two parties will be the first to be used in new SAIC own-brand models next year.
Qingtao Energy is engaged in the production of solid-state lithium batteries and has built the first solid-state lithium battery production line in China. SAIC participated in the financing of Qingtao Energy E+ and F++ in June 2020 and January 2022.
